Job Description

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support a high‑impact system cleanup initiative in preparation for a migration to Workday. This role sits above the AP Specialist level, requiring advanced analytical capabilities, strong critical thinking, and the ability to independently own complex AP workstreams while providing guidance and oversight to junior team members.

The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree, 3–5+ years of progressive AP experience, and demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets, resolve complex discrepancies, and support audit‑related initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including complex or analytical work
- Advanced Excel skills with large data sets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleansing)
- Experience performing 1099 audits and detailed payment analysis
- Proven ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote environment
- Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and attention to detail
- Proactive, self‑starter mindset with ownership mentality

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with Premier AP and/or Remitra (Procure‑to‑Pay)
- Workday ERP experience (especially pre‑ or post‑implementation)
- Prior experience serving in a senior, lead, or mentor capacity within an AP team
- Background supporting system migrations or large‑scale data cleanups
