Job Description

We are seeking a highly technical Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) / Data Cloud Developer with strong hands‑on development experience, deep understanding of relational databases, and the communication skills to articulate technical decisions to business partners. This role requires someone who is proactive, curious about the platform, and capable of both building and optimizing complex customer journeys, data models, and segmentation logic.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, build, and test customer journeys, segmentation logic, and data models within SFMC and Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly CDP)
• Work in a pod structure alongside Scrum Masters, BA’s, and other developers
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily standups
• Create and maintain documentation, including SRDs (Solution Requirements Documents)
• Support campaign execution: audits, troubleshooting, QA, and optimization
• Collaborate with partner and vendor teams for platform alignment
• Be proactive in development and delivery — independently begin builds, propose solutions, and maintain forward momentum
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of relational databases and how data models support segmentation and journeys

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 years of relevant experience
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
• Salesforce Data Cloud experience (formerly called CDP)
• Strong communication skills - ability to clearly articulate technical and business requirements

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Financial industry experience
• Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), AGO, AAM
• Adobe Campaign experience
• Legacy campaign platforms: SAS, IBM Unica
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications
• Campaign management experience
