Pay Rate

$50 - $62 (hourly estimate)

Job Description

· Supporting project and business development activities, proposal and budget development, strategic planning, building relationships with existing and potential clients, and managing client interaction;
· Provide high level consultation to clients;
· Manage and develop staff, inclusive of staff training/mentorship and development;
· Manage geotechnical and construction inspection projects;
· Geotechnical engineering including coordination and supervising SPT boring and rock core drilling, subsurface evaluations and preparation of geotechnical subsurface investigation reports, foundation evaluation (e.g., foundation types, bearing capacities, settlement analyses, etc.), slope stability evaluation, flexible and rigid pavements;
· Construction inspection and testing (soil, concrete, masonry, structural steel, spray applied fire proofing, etc.), preparation/review of field reports, geotechnical field consulting, and evaluation of adverse earthwork conditions;
· Manage our geotechnical laboratory and able to conduct laboratory testing; Periodic travel to project sites for meetings, audits, or other activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors of Engineering
- 10-20 years of geotechnical or civil engineering experience
- Consulting background
- PE license in PA, DE, or NJ
Proven experience with client development and strategic planning
