Senior Financial Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for one of its top clients in the advertising space. This individual will provide immediate financial and accounting support for a subsidiary video and print production group that supports internal clients across North America. This role is critical, and the team needs a strong, hands‑on analyst who can quickly step in and support the organization’s accounting and data sets. The position is best suited for a strong analyst with a solid accounting foundation who also thinks analytically and is comfortable digging into large, imperfect datasets, identifying gaps, understanding cost drivers—particularly within freelancer‑heavy or variable cost structures—and improving processes. The ideal candidate can operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and bring strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. This analyst will support a business based out of New York while working onsite in Carlsbad, collaborating closely with local team members to get up to speed. The business operates at significant scale, managing hundreds of millions of dollars across North America, while maintaining a more boutique, hands‑on operating style.

Strong Excel proficiency, including:
Pivot Tables
VLOOKUPs / XLOOKUPs
Managing large datasets across multiple worksheets
(Macros not required)
Core accounting background with the ability to support large books
Analytical mindset — able to dig into numbers, identify inconsistencies, and understand where costs are coming from

Experience in the advertising or marketing industry; background in client‑facing environments
Experience with Agresso
Experience with Salesforce and/or time‑tracking tools
