Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project OEM Manager serves as the primary liaison between the company and the major equipment/powertrain supplier on a project. This role ensures the OEM meets all technical, schedule, and commercial obligations from design through construction, first fire, commissioning, and turnover.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Lead the relationship with the OEM and coordinate all EPC construction activities requiring OEM technical input.
• Serve as the main on‑site point of contact for all OEM-related questions, drawings, specifications, and scope clarifications.
• Review OEM drawings, manage RFIs, and ensure alignment between OEM plans and construction plans.
• Support the Project Manager and engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams with OEM schedules, changes, critical path items, and TFA (technical field advisor) coordination.
• Track and manage OEM documentation, including quality records, dimensional checks, first‑fire readiness, turnover packages, and punch lists.
• Lead weekly meetings with OEM TFAs and maintain accurate progress tracking.
• Manage Extra Work Authorizations (EWAs) for OEM-requested additional work.
• Participate in site walks to monitor equipment erection progress and ensure OEM requirements are met.
• Support logistics planning, heavy-haul deliveries, and documentation of equipment offloading and installation.
• Assist with warranty transition and support engineering during performance testing.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in roles such as OEM Engineer, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or Engineering Manager.
• Experience in power plants (LNG, Thermal, Nuclear, or Gas)
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable coordinating multiple teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
