Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Safety Director to oversee and manage all safety programs, training, and compliance across job sites. This role is responsible for ensuring all safety documentation, training, inspections, and reporting meet ISN and OSHA standards. The Safety Director will split time between office-based administrative work and on-site safety observations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and submit safety documentation and programs to ISN (a safety management company)
• Create and deliver safety training materials, including PowerPoint presentations
• Ensure all employees complete 1–2 days of safety training prior to accessing plant/job sites
• Maintain sign-off sheets and required ISN documentation
• Conduct job site safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Perform tool and equipment safety inspections
• Prepare and submit OSHA reports
• Review and update safety programs as required by ISN
• Spend a portion of the week performing on-site observations using a company vehicle to ensure proper safety practices are being followed
• Maintain organized, up-to-date records ensuring all safety paperwork is audit-ready at all times

Required Skills & Experience

• Electrician experience
• ISN Certification
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices
• Experience with safety training, job site inspections, and compliance documentation
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and standard documentation tools
• Highly reliable, organized, and self-motivated

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• OSHA reporting experience
• Prior experience working with safety management platforms
• Background in construction, industrial, or plant environments
