Purchase Order Management Lead

Insight Global is looking for a Purchase Order (PO) Management Lead to support a large enterprise’s Supply Planning function. This role focuses on converting supply plans into accurate, timely purchase orders and ensuring all data driving production is clean, complete, and reliable. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in fast paced environments, enjoys hands on work in spreadsheets, and excels in solving problems through strong judgment and cross functional collaboration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Convert supply plans into executable purchase orders for finished goods vendors.
• Screen and validate large data sets for completeness, accuracy, and potential errors.
• Analyze buy requirements and ensure all PO inputs meet quality standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve PO and data exceptions with Planning, Procurement, and vendor partners.
• Generate, release, and maintain POs with precision and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support the development of SOPs.
• Monitor PO metrics; assist in building or updating dashboards.
• Support continuous process and system improvements during a period of operational transformation.

• 3+ years of experience in supply planning, procurement, purchasing, or PO management.
• Strong Excel skills (comfortable navigating, auditing, and cleaning complex spreadsheets).
• High attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies quickly and accurately.
• Experience working in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong analytical mindset with good judgment and common sense in decision-making.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to evolving systems, and understand the broader business implications behind decisions.
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable working cross functionally.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.

• Experience with dashboarding or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience working in a rapidly changing or transformation focused environment.
