Job Description
We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher. This role will serve as both a hands-on researcher and a practice leader, helping bring structure, rigor, and consistency to our UX research efforts. The ideal candidate has deep experience conducting research in complex product environments and is capable of elevating how research is planned, executed, and applied across teams.
This person will play a key role in shaping research strategy, mentoring others, and ensuring insights translate into clear product and business impact.
Lead end-to-end UX research efforts
Establish and evolve UX research practices, frameworks, and standards
Partner closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to influence product direction
Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making
Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution of qualitative and quantitative research
Help “get the house in order” by improving research operations, consistency, and quality
Advocate for user-centered design and research-driven product development across teams

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of UX research experience, ideally including time in consulting or agency environments
Proven ability to lead and shape a UX research practice, not just execute individual studies
Deep experience conducting a range of research methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, field studies, surveys)
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
Demonstrated experience working in complex, fast-moving product environments
Ability to operate independently while also mentoring and guiding others
Strong synthesis and storytelling skills — able to turn research into clear product direction
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience building or formalizing a UX research function or practice
Background in consulting with exposure to multiple clients, domains, or problem spaces
Experience mentoring junior or mid-level researchers
Comfort stepping into a research leadership role while remaining a strong “do-er”
Experience scaling research in organizations where it was previously informal or inconsistent
Familiarity with business and operational considerations beyond pure UX research
