Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Security Enterprise Architect to guide the evolution of our enterprise security landscape and enable business innovation. This role is responsible for defining and executing enterprise-level security strategy with a strong focus on AI assurance, observability, AI/ML model security, data security, APIs, and application security. As a key thought leader, you will architect integrated, scalable security solutions that support the safe and rapid adoption of AI and other advanced technologies across cloud and enterprise environments.
In this role, you will develop security architectures, frameworks, and roadmaps for emerging technologies, including AI enablement, data platforms, and API ecosystems. You will design and integrate robust security controls, governance, and best practices across the full AI lifecycle—covering Microsoft 365 Content AI, large language models, custom AI/ML models, AI agents, APIs, and the applications that consume them. Responsibilities also include architecting a secure, isolated cloud tenant to support AI red team automation and research, defining security patterns for AI/ML platforms, and evolving a resilient, adaptive defense framework capable of addressing emerging threats targeting AI and automated systems.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture roles, with at least 5 years in a security architect role focused on modern technology stacks.
- Demonstrable experience creating security strategies and architectures for emerging technologies, particularly AI. Proven track record of leading security initiatives for large-scale data platforms, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML Security, including AI Assurance, Model Security (e.g., for LLMs), and understanding of adversarial ML techniques.
- Strong background in Data Security, particularly within Data Lake/Data Mesh environments and for unstructured data. Expert-level knowledge of API Security and modern Application Security (AppSec) principles.
- Advanced skills in Cloud Security Architecture (Azure, GCP, or AWS), including designing secure multi-tenant environments.
- Experience with designing and implementing security Observability and monitoring frameworks. Familiarity with the security capabilities and governance of Microsoft 365, including its evolving AI features.
- Exceptional ability to think strategically and align security initiatives with business and technology innovation goals with a passion for staying at the forefront of cybersecurity and technology trends.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining highly complex security concepts to diverse audiences, from engineers to executive leaders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or TOGAF and other architect-level certifications are highly desirable.
