Job Description
Demonstrate a proactive desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills.
Promote a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of data center operations.
Collaborate with commissioning teams to properly test and validate the installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems.
Understand the design, functionality, and operational requirements of your data center.
Support 24x7x365 on-site data center operations and electrical infrastructure.
Serve as the technical authority for on-site operations related to large-scale, mission-critical electrical systems - including design and functionality.
Establish and coordinate maintenance and safety procedures, ensuring highly redundant electrical designs are maintained.
Manage electrical infrastructure across the data center campus, ranging from a single large-capacity facility to multiple smaller sites.

Required Skills & Experience
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR
- 3+ years of critical environment experience.
- 1+ years’ experience with power systems in a critical industry (e.g. 3 phase/single phase transformers, low voltage switchgear, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS's), arc-flash studies, breakers etc.).
- 2+ years’ experience designing, testing, or implementing electrical systems in a data center, industrial, or mission-critical environment
- Building Systems Experience ie:
Electrical
Power Distribution
Substation
UPS
Generators
Utility
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
P.Eng. license in Ontario (preferable)
