Job Description

We are looking for a Program Manager to work for a leaders in the energy industry. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities
Cost Management & Process Improvement

Lead initiatives to update and enhance cost management standards.

Translate updated cost management standards into practical, repeatable processes.

Guide teams through sequential process changes, ensuring adoption and consistency.

Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to streamline cost and controls workflows.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Proactively schedule, facilitate, and lead stakeholder meetings across these two groups.

Capture key decisions, updates, and action items, and communicate outcomes back to project teams.

Drive implementation of agreed-upon changes and ensure alignment across organizations.

Schedule & Milestone Management

Lead efforts to improve schedule integrity, milestone tracking, and visibility.

Address known gaps in scheduling practices, particularly within the T&S organization.

Monitor milestone performance and identify risks or gaps impacting project delivery.

Process Alignment Between one business unit and the interdependent differences.

Analyze existing project management processes used by both teams.

Identify opportunities to align and optimize workflows while accounting for system constraints.

Support task-based project management approach within SAP.

Support the organization through Primavera P6 milestones, acknowledging current data quality limitations and system constraints.

Systems & Data Awareness

Work within existing toolsets, including SAP (task-based project management) and Primavera P6 (milestone-based scheduling).

Navigate limitations related to data quality and system readiness, particularly for this organization as they transition toward future solutions.

Ensure reporting and controls reflect system realities while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of Project Management experience (what is project management and project controls)
- Experience with process improvement and building process
- Experience leading cross functional conversations and understand project management
- Well organized and take changes and what is happening with different functional areas and bring that back to leadership and how they can adapt
- Experience with controls and governance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Prior experience working for this company
- Experience with P6 and SAP
- Lean Experience (lean adoption and problem solving)
