Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Developer / Analyst with deep expertise in spatial data analysis, geospatial systems, and application development. This role will serve as a GIS subject matter expert, partnering closely with the Operations team to unlock maximum value from geospatial data.
The ideal candidate brings strong ESRI/ArcGIS expertise and hands on experience with open source GIS technologies, modern databases, cloud platforms, and software development practices. This role requires someone who can move fluidly between analysis, engineering, and stakeholder collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience working with GIS and spatial data
• Deep expertise in the ESRI ArcGIS suite
• Strong experience with open source GIS technologies
• Advanced SQL and spatial database experience
• Proficiency in Python for geospatial scripting and automation
• Experience developing with ArcGIS APIs and/or open source geospatial libraries
• Strong understanding of spatial data concepts, projections, and coordinate systems
• Experience partnering with operational or business teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• DevOps or CI/CD experience for data or GIS platforms
• Experience building web based GIS applications and dashboards
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines for spatial data
• ESRI certifications (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise)
• Experience with real time or streaming geospatial data
