PCB Layout Engineer

Insight Global’s Client is seeking a mid-level to senior PCB Layout Engineer / PCB Designer to support the design and layout of complex, space‑constrained, high‑performance PCBs. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong technical depth, adaptability, and the ability to balance multiple designs and priorities simultaneously.
You will work closely with electrical, mechanical, RF, and manufacturing engineers to deliver production‑ready designs that meet strict performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.

Required Qualifications

- 4+ years of professional PCB layout experience using Cadence Allegro
- Demonstrated experience with HDI designs, including microvias and high‑density routing
- Hands‑on experience designing flex and rigid‑flex PCBs
- Strong understanding of high‑speed layout principles, power distribution, and manufacturability
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of multiple designs simultaneously

- Experience in consumer electronics, robotics, aerospace, or autonomous systems
- Startup or small, highly collaborative hardware team experience
- Exposure to high‑speed interfaces, embedded computing platforms, RF, or camera systems
- Experience supporting prototypes through EVT/DVT/PVT cycles
