Insight Global is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a client in Hurst, TX. The ideal candidate an experienced light‑ and medium‑duty diesel mechanic who knows Ford, Chevy/GMC, and Ram platforms inside and out. This role focuses heavily on F250/F350, Chevy 2500/3500, and Ram 2500/3500 trucks rather than heavy‑duty semis. You’ll handle everything from engine reseals and fuel system diagnostics to suspension, steering, and general drivability issues across Powerstroke, Cummins, and Duramax platforms. Your day will include hands‑on repair work, troubleshooting complex issues, communicating clearly with the team, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience (light/medium‑duty preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Hands‑on experience with Powerstroke, Cummins, and Duramax
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Own tools
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- CDL
- ASE certifications
- Experience with performance builds or fleet maintenance
- Familiarity with high‑pressure fuel systems and advanced diagnostics
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume shop
