Job Description
Working with a dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in supporting maintenance and reliability engineering activities, focusing the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment for the QC Laboratories, North Creek Manufacturing Facility, and GMP Warehouse.
As a Maintenance Technician III, you are recognized as a versatile team member with a broad range of practical skills and ability to solve problems in a timely and efficient manner. You will advance your career by specializing in one or more trades (e.g., industrial maintenance), pursuing certifications, gaining experience in more complex tasks, and developing your leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
• Perform predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance activities for GMP equipment.
• Document all work order activities in EAMS and relevant equipment logs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner utilizing DMAIC techniques.
• Read and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Support engineering projects to select and install appropriate equipment.
• Perform duties in a safe manner with a focus on Zero Injuries.
• Follow all SOP and cGMP requirements.
• Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Provide laboratory, facility and manufacturing support as needed with on-call rotation - this may be outside of normal working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Skills & Experience
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ years of experience working with Mechanical/Electrical maintenance in a cGMP or Non-cGMP industrial environment.
• Demonstrated aptitude in basic mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation skills along with problem-solving techniques.
• A solid understanding of industry practices and standards, as well as basic mathematics.
• Familiarity with general trades such as construction, electrical, and machine shop work.
• Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic for developing and implanting solutions.
• Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
• Must have the ability to follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Manufacturing experience and a solid understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Proficiency in basic mechanics, drive systems, and lubrication principles.
• Ability to use a voltmeter to test for power presence.
• Ability to read and understand diagrams and schematics.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Knowledge of working in a GMP environment and completion of GMP documentation preferred.
• Knowledge of pharma utility systems and operations.
• Advanced certifications in relevant technical fields.
• Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
