Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, microbiology, or a related scientific field or equivalent experience in a clinical laboratory environment
Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and information systems
Experience supporting, configuring, or administering enterprise applications (LIMS preferred)
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
The LIMS Application Analyst is responsible for the development, configuration, support, and ongoing maintenance of our client's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and its related interfaces. This role partners closely with laboratory staff, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure the LIMS effectively supports clinical and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, test, and support LIMS enhancements, updates, and issue resolution
Act as a liaison between end users and technical teams to gather and translate business requirements
Manage and document testing for system changes, upgrades, and bug fixes
Develop and deliver training to LIMS end users
Analyze user requests to distinguish true business needs and system capabilities
Create functional documentation including requirements, workflows, test scenarios, and interface designs
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to balance usability and technical constraints
