Job Description

Our client (a Fortune 100 Tech Company) is seeking a qualified Documents Controls Specialist responsible for leading small-large cloesout meetings, formal review and management of construction turnover documentation and appropriate routing to the appropriate staff to perform a technical review.

You will audit new and existing documentation for standards compliance and formatting, perform audit checks of document indexes against document uploads for completeness and identify missing files.

Duties also include the management the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process on site, ensuring documents are processed through the proper change management process. You will follow established documentation processes and procedures, and provide guidance and training to various stakeholders, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will also recommend process improvements for document control-related topics and provide weekly reports on the status of projects.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree or above in Construction Management OR 2+ years as a Project Manager, Coordinator or Administrator in a Construction Environment

- Experience auditing documents for formatting, naming conventions, version control, and standards compliance before acceptance into the document management system.

- Strong attention to detail to ensure all deliverables meet client, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements prior to turnover.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Familiarity with Primavera P6 schedule governance, document control processes, and construction cost/change workflows.
- Familiarity with construction project management tools such as eBuilder, Auto Desk Construction Cloud, Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of construction documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost controls.
