Job Description

IG is looking for an EDI Scrum Master to support a manufacturing client of ours.

Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure smooth sprint execution and strong team collaboration.
Work closely with Product Owner(s) to refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and readiness for development.
Remove impediments and blockers that impact the team’s delivery, coordinating with cross‑functional groups such as EDI, SI, ERP, and infrastructure teams.
Ensure the development team applies Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Support the team in planning and delivering EDI integrations, mapping changes, SI BPs, trading‑partner onboarding, and Oracle/SAP interface updates.
Track Sprint progress using tools such as Azure DevOps / Jira / Rally, maintaining transparency through dashboards, burndown charts, and reports.
Drive collaboration between EDI developers, SI B2B integrator specialists, Oracle/SAP functional teams, QA analysts, and business SMEs to ensure seamless delivery of EDI solutions.
Ensure all work items (user stories, tasks, defects) are properly documented, estimated, and aligned with sprint goals.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, facilitating long‑term corrective actions and process improvements.
Promote team ownership of quality by ensuring proper testing, peer reviews, acceptance validations, and production readiness checks.
Foster a culture of trust, open communication, and continuous learning, enabling the team to achieve high efficiency and productivity.
Manage dependencies across teams and coordinate integration testing cycles between SI, ERP teams, trading partners, and infrastructure.
Report status, risks, and sprint outcomes to leadership, stakeholders, and CoE teams, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Guide the team in adopting best practices for Agile delivery related to EDI document flows, mapping lifecycle, trading partner onboarding, and production support readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, estimation techniques, and team coaching.
Experience working in complex EDI / B2B Integration environments involving SI/IB2BI, Oracle EBS, SAP IDocs, and multiple trading partners.
Ability to manage technical workstreams involving EDI mappings, SI Business processes, communication protocols, and ERP inbound/outbound flows.
Skilled at facilitating collaboration between diverse technical teams (EDI, ERP, network, infrastructure, business).
Proficient with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Rally, etc.
Strong organization and leadership skills with the ability to drive delivery across distributed teams.
Understanding of incident management, production support workflows, SLAs, and Agile DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear business updates.
Ability to coach teams on Agile best practices and build a culture of continual improvement and accountability.
