Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Commercial Title Examiners to join the nation's largest title insurance company.

Responsibilities

Review and examine complex title orders in accordance with company guidelines to determine conditions of title, including the impact of mortgages, liens, judgments, and other recorded documents on ownership, legal restrictions, and legal descriptions.
Conduct quality reviews of final title products to ensure accuracy and adherence to established standards.
Clearly explain chains of title, exceptions, and requirements to customers and management.
Identify, assess, and escalate potential risks or liabilities that could impact the company.
Prepare thorough, accurate title reports in compliance with company policies and examination procedures.
Request and obtain documentation necessary to resolve title defects prior to report release.
Retrieve documents from county offices and onsite locations as required.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
Demonstrated experience examining complex properties, including patent searches, 99‑year searches, and commercial properties.
Detail‑oriented and customer‑focused with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Solid understanding of industry concepts, practices, procedures, and associated risks and liabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and industry‑specific software required to perform job functions.
Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and independently plan and accomplish goals.
Minimum of 5 years of commercial title search and examination experience; underwriting experience preferred.
Experience in the following states: New York, New Jersey, Maryland, West Virginia, and/or Pennsylvania

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Pennsylvania title examining experience is a plus.
