Job Description

The Technician III Electronics works under limited supervision to test, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and calibrate complex electronic and mechanical products and systems. This role involves interpreting blueprints, schematics, work orders, and test procedures; performing both automated and manual testing; and troubleshooting production issues down to the component level. The technician documents results, generates non‑conformance reports, and supports quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes maintaining test documentation, supporting cross‑program testing, mentoring less‑experienced technicians, and flexibly supporting production needs, including overtime when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Associate’s degree (AA) in Electronic or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent technical knowledge gained through experience or a recognized educational institution
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting methods, circuitry, or mechanical characteristics relevant to the role, with the ability to devise and adapt solutions
• Familiarity with product flow in a manufacturing or repair environment and a working knowledge of computer systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to clearly convey technical information
• Ability to learn new test software and equipment, identify abnormal equipment or product conditions, and work across multiple software systems (e.g., time entry, PDM, MRP)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques used to optimize manufacturing and distribution
• Practical knowledge of engineering electronics, science, and technology, including the application of principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment in product design and production
Working knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including relevant applications and programming
