Job Description
One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire a Logistics and Purchasing Manager to support office operations in Chantilly, VA. This will be a fully onsite role, Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 5PM. This individual will be supervising 2 other associates across that shift.
This individual will be responsible for managing logistics, operations and field support for an IT infrastructure provider. They will overseeing daily ordering and purchasing activities, interfacing with vendors to get bids/quotes on materials, manage inventory flow and track assets.
Additionally, there will be a fleet management component to the role. This office has a fleet of 20 company vehicles and this individual is responsible for keeping all registration updated and ensuring that servicing of the trucks is being scheduled regularly.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of logistics / operations experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Previous experience in vendor management and negotations
- Computer proficient; will be using Dyanmics for purchasing
- Clean background and MVR
- Ability to reliably commute to
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in telecommunications or network-related construction is strongly preferred
