Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to assist modernization efforts within DevSecOps environments across aerospace program software factories. This individual will lead the design, architecture, development, deployment, and operation of modern DevSecOps tooling supporting continuous integration, continuous testing, continuous cyber, and continuous deployment.
This role will partner closely with cross-functional groups—Systems Engineering, Real-Time & Embedded Software, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and Systems Test—within an Agile development environment. Key responsibilities include conducting trade studies, evaluating alternatives for end-of-life peer review products, prototyping solutions, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and successfully transitioning teams to a new productionized tool.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 14+ years related Software Engineering experience in an Agile environment
OR Master’s + 12 years
OR PhD + 9 years
• Experience with peer review tools (e.g., Atlassian Crucible)
• Experience with at least one OOP language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Python, Swift)
• Experience with change management tools (Jira, ClearQuest, Asana)
• Experience with CI tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab)
Experience with configuration management tools (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Subversion)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Cloud certifications (AWS, VMware, Azure, Kubernetes) at architect level
• Experience using AI to improve peer review quality
• Experience architecting cloud solutions
• Active Secret DoD clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret
Current SAP (Special Access Program) clearance
