Job Description

Position Summary
The General Foreman is responsible for leading plumbing and piping operations on $10–15 million ground‑up projects within a single facility. This role oversees multiple hands‑on Plumbing/Piping Foremen and field crews while coordinating execution, manpower, safety, and quality within complex environments.
Projects are strictly ground‑up hospital and medical facilities or large‑scale commercial construction, including data centers, universities, and semiconductor facilities.
This role is not aligned with residential construction or oil & gas backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

Lead plumbing and piping scopes for $10–15M projects within one facility
Direct and coordinate multiple hands‑on foremen and field crews
Develop daily and weekly manpower plans to maintain schedule and productivity
Coordinate work sequencing within the facility to avoid trade conflicts
Partner with the Superintendent on overall schedule, labor strategy, and risk mitigation
Ensure consistent installation quality across all work areas
Enforce safety standards and correct issues immediately
Track progress and proactively address labor, material, or access constraints
Support inspections, testing, and punch‑list completion
Maintain clear communication between field crews and project leadership

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a General Foreman or Senior Foreman in plumbing/piping
Strong background in commercial plumbing and piping systems
Experience leading $10–15M ground‑up projects in a single facility environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple foremen and large field crews
Strong understanding of sequencing, manpower planning, and production control
Experience coordinating work in healthcare or large‑scale commercial facilities
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong safety leadership and jobsite discipline
Stable, consistent work history (no job hopping)
