Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior DBA to join their team. We are looking for a senior, self-sufficient DBA to help stand up their database environment and then administer/maintain it. This person will be responsible for Responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of transactional databases, ensuring that databases are available, performing properly, and secure. Design database architecture and processes, participate in database strategy and capacity planning.

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience standing up new databases.
• Experience in working in Agile development environments, following Agile methodologies and best practices, and using tools such as Jira for project management and collaboration.
• Knowledgeable in SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2017, 2019+
• Knowledgeable in Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019+
• Knowledgeable in SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, as well as the SQL Server Database Engine, and SQL Server Agent.
• Experience with Oracle Database, Elasticsearch, Kafka, PostgreSQL a plus.
