Job Description

This role leads the ground-up rearchitecture of an existing SharePoint environment of approximately 600 sites, transforming it into a streamlined, scalable hub-and-spoke model aligned to how the business operates today. This person will assess the current-state environment, define a clear rearchitecture strategy, and reduce site sprawl while improving usability, governance, and long-term sustainability. This resource will work directly with business stakeholders to understand real-world usage patterns and translate high-level or loosely defined requirements into a practical SharePoint architecture. This person will design and implement the new SharePoint structure, including site architecture, navigation, security, and ownership standards, and oversee the redesign and rebuild of sites to ensure consistency and scalability. This resource serves as the architectural authority for SharePoint, guiding decisions and driving delivery on a large-scale transformation.
