Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to sit hybrid at a cybersecurity client in Frisco, Texas. This person brings 8+ years of experience in delivering enterprise-scale, high-performance eCommerce platforms that support the clients global customer acquisition and retention initiatives. This person will play a key role in evolving the engineering ecosystem by leveraging AI-powered developer tools, modern cloud native architectures, and proven software engineering practices, while ensuring stability and performance of business critical platforms.

(This role can pay $140,000-$160,000 depending on years of experience).

Required Skills & Experience

-8+ years of software engineering experience with significant ownership of solution architecture.
-Proven Solution/Technical Architect or Senior/Principal Engineer, with a track record of leading teams, influencing decisions, and mentoring engineers.
-Deep hands‑on expertise in C#, .NET Core, and Node.js to build scalable, secure backend services and RESTful APIs.
-Strong database design and performance tuning experience across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MySQL.
-Frontend architecture experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, and React, delivering performant, well‑integrated user interfaces.
-End‑to‑end ownership of ecommerce platforms, including PCI‑compliant payments, checkout optimization, and improving PSR/CVR through experimentation and A/B testing.
-Extensive AWS experience, spanning legacy monoliths and microservices, with focus on scalability, resiliency, observability, and cost efficiency.
-Distributed systems experience using Kafka or similar event‑driven messaging platforms.
-Active use of AI‑powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate development and improve code quality.
-CI/CD and DevOps expertise, including Docker, Kubernetes, and automated build, test, security, and deployment pipelines.
-Exposure to Go, CMS platforms (AEM or similar), and data analysis to improve scalability and customer experience.
-Demonstrated ability to balance near‑term delivery with long‑term architectural vision.
