Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Insight Global is looking for a Production Supervisor to join a growing company specializing in advanced overhead conductors. This is a direct hire role, working 3rd shift from 10pm - 6:30 am in Huntington Beach, CA. Responsibilites include:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure Safety, Quality, and On‑Time Delivery targets are consistently met across assigned production lines.
• Supervise and develop a team of 20-30 individuals, including performance management, attendance tracking, coaching/mentorship, and supporting succession planning.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on equipment (hydraulics, heating systems, pulse systems, extension/protrusion machines) and communicate findings effectively to maintenance teams.
• Conduct regular quality inspections, verify products are routed to the correct departments, and ensure all process flows and documentation are followed accurately.
• Analyze work orders, plan labor resources, and adjust production schedules as needed to maintain throughput and minimize downtime.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as 5S and Kaizen to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and optimize workflows.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies while maintaining accurate production records.
• Utilize ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle) to track production data, monitor inventory, and report operational metrics.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated success leading production teams, including performance management, corrective actions, mentorship, and employee development
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience troubleshooting hydraulics, heating systems, pulse systems, and extension/protrusion machinery
• Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite/Oracle experience highly preferred
• Background working in Lean, 5S, and Kaizen-driven environments, with a strong focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to work weekends and 3rd shift as required
