Role Summary
The Cloud Solutions engineer is a high level, hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, building, and operating large-scale public cloud network infrastructure with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and prior experience in AWS. This role leads cloud network architecture from strategy through implementation, creating secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments that support enterprise application workloads migrating from on-premises environments.
This position emphasizes infrastructure build-out, and operational support. The role requires deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Git Lab, and hybrid connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Network Engineering
Engineer comprehensive public cloud network architectures, primarily in GCP, including landing zones, VPCs, subnets, shared services, routing, load balancing, DNS, and interconnects.
Implement hybrid cloud connectivity, including VPNs, Interconnects/Direct Connect, and secure integration with on-premises environments.
Infrastructure Delivery & Automation
Build cloud infrastructure using Terraform as the primary Infrastructure as Code tool.
Apply GitOps practices using GitLabmto manage infrastructure lifecycle and change control.
Use scripting (Python, Bash) to automate provisioning, operations, and monitoring workflows.
Support migrations of network and infrastructure workloads from on‑premises environments to public cloud.
This role is fully remote and offering an hourly rate of 60-63/hr

Required Skills & Experience
5-10 years of experience in cloud and network architecture or engineering.
2+ years of hands-on GCP experience, with prior AWS experience required.
Strong expertise in cloud networking, including VPC design, routing, load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
Terraform expertise is mandatory.
Strong Git/GitOps experience (GitLab preferred).
Experience designing and building cloud landing zones and core infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with Linux environments.
Proficiency with Python and/or Bash scripting.
Experience designing secure, highly available, and scalable cloud infrastructures.
Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to produce clear technical design artifacts.
