Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Manager of Maintenance for a leading aviation client. This individual will oversee widebody line maintenance operations, acting as a floating leader supporting multiple station managers in a high‑paced environment. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of maintenance experience, strong supervisory capability, and the ability to multitask across hands‑on operational demands and administrative leadership. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft maintenance while coordinating closely with MCC, Materials, Planning, and Quality teams. A great opportunity for an experienced A&P leader looking to step into a dynamic, multi‑station leadership structure.



Lead and oversee line maintenance operations across assigned station(s)
Act as the 5th manager/floater supporting four other station managers
Balance hands‑on operational oversight with administrative leadership (50/50 split)
Manage technician performance, scheduling, and training compliance
Coordinate maintenance activities with MCC, Planning, Materials, QC, and A/C Planning
Support AOG recovery and major mechanical events as needed
Monitor mechanical issues, repeat items, and engine performance programs
Ensure proper documentation, TRAX entries, and log page accuracy
Drive safety, compliance, and efficiency across station operations
Communicate with Senior Manager Mike Patience on staffing, operations, and cost control
Support shift transitions and ensure maintenance completion prior to aircraft release
Perform station self‑audits and assist with budget oversight
Travel or fly with company aircraft as needed to support operations

Required Skills & Experience

FAA A&P Certificate (regulatory requirement)
7+years leadership experience in Aircraft Maintenance
Wide body Aircraft Experience (Ex. Boeing 747, 767, 777 or Airbus)
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable working rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays
High school diploma
Valid driver’s license or passport
Strong problem solving, prioritization, and operational decision-making

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience using TRAX maintenance software
