Job Description

● Serve as the People Technology lead for the Global Payroll program, partnering closely with Payroll leadership to plan, coordinate, and deliver a multi-phase implementation and long-term optimization roadmap.
● Translate Payroll and People Ops needs into scalable solutions by gathering requirements, aligning stakeholders, and converting business processes into clear functional/technical designs.
● Drive cross-functional delivery across People, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors, ensuring dependencies, decisions, and risks are managed proactively.
● Coordinate integrations between payroll and the broader enterprise ecosystem (e.g., Workday HCM, time/absence, benefits, finance/GL, identity/access, reporting/analytics), enabling end-to-end accuracy from hire-to-pay through post-pay reconciliation.
● Own program documentation, including business requirements, process maps, data flows, controls, and security/privacy considerations, ensuring audit-ready, compliant outcomes.
● Manage implementation execution by overseeing scope, resourcing, timelines, and budget tracking, while keeping stakeholders aligned through crisp status reporting and decision logs.
● Define and run the testing strategy (SIT/UAT/payroll parallel testing), coordinate UAT readiness, triage issues, and partner with Payroll to validate results and ensure a smooth cutover.
● Enable adoption and change readiness by supporting training, communications, and role-based job aids, partnering with Payroll to ensure operational handoffs are clear and sustainable.
● Monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement using metrics (accuracy, timeliness, defects, ticket trends, user feedback), and lead enhancements that improve scalability and employee experience.
● Establish operating governance, including release schedules, support models, SLAs, access controls, and change control processes for payroll-related People systems.
● Promote global process consistency while supporting regional requirements (local compliance, calendars, statutory reporting), in partnership with Payroll and HR stakeholders.
Represent People Technology in cross-functional forums, ensuring payroll priorities are connected to broader People technology strategy and platform evolution.
