Network Administrator
Location: Indianapolis, IN (100% Onsite – 5 days/week)
Duration: 6‑Month Contract (High likelihood of extension)
About the Role
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support a large enterprise client in Indianapolis, IN. This individual will be a key, hands-on contributor responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong, hands-on Cisco Meraki experience, specifically working with switch connectivity, and is comfortable working in an onsite, production environment.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Provide hands-on administration and support of the enterprise network environment
Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki switches, with a heavy focus on connectivity and performance
Monitor network health and proactively resolve connectivity, latency, and outage issues
Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including VLANs, routing, and switching
Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues
Assist with network upgrades, configuration changes, and ongoing maintenance
Work closely with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve escalated network issues
Maintain documentation for network configurations and changes
Provide on-site support as needed in a fast-paced environment

Contract Length: 6 months, with strong potential for extension
Work Environment: Fully onsite

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves
5+ years of Network Administration experience
5+ years of hands-on Cisco Meraki experience (REQUIRED)
Strong experience with Meraki switches and switch connectivity
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching)
Experience troubleshooting enterprise network environments
Ability and willingness to work onsite in Indianapolis, IN, 5 days per week
Nice to Have
Fortinet / FortiGate firewall experience
Experience working in large enterprise or corporate environments
Relevant networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Meraki certifications)
