Job Description

An employer in the insurance industry is looking for a Data Steward to join the team and sit fully remote. This person will manage the data quality within the client's Salesforce environment. As a Data Steward, you will collaborate closely with business units to ensure accurate data management practices, prevent duplicate entries, and adjudicate ownership of opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the data quality process, enforcing rules, and interfacing with various stakeholders to maintain the integrity of new client data. They will also receive tickets from the triage team, and will determine if the ticket should be with them, or a different team based on ticket details. The Data Steward will manage and refine the process around data quality, ensuring adherence to established rules and processes for new clients. They will work alongside business data stewards to ensure seamless integration of prospects, leads, and accounts into Salesforce.

Required Skills & Experience

4-6 years' relevant work experience
Strong SQL experience.
Proven experience in managing data quality within Salesforce.
Insurance industry experience
Demonstrated ability to manage complex datasets with attention to detail.
Able to handle low-level troubleshooting within Salesforce.
Best practices in data management within Salesforce

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working for an insurance brokerage (ex. Marsh Mclennan, Aon PLC, Willis towers Watson, etc.)
Past experience working within a Data Cloud environment.
