Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Director of E-comm growth strategy. The Director of Growth, eCommerce will spearhead the development and execution of robust growth strategies and tactical plans specifically tailored to their DTC websites . This role focuses on creating detailed plans for organic search, paid search, affiliates, email marketing, and offline marketing to achieve key business objectives, including revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and enhanced market penetration in the sleep industry. You'll own the visualization of how these strategies come to life through comprehensive, detailed planning, working closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, product, operations, and technology to bring data-driven channel strategies to fruition.
Compensation:
$60/hr to $70/hr

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in eCommerce growth, with at least 4 years in leadership roles focused on DTC channels at a consumer goods or retail company.
• Demonstrated success in building and executing strategies for organic search, paid search, affiliates, email marketing, and offline marketing that have achieved measurable outcomes, such as significant revenue uplift or improved site metrics on branded websites.
• Expertise in relevant tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Klaviyo).
• Strong knowledge of customer segmentation and channel-specific planning.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and collaborate across departments.
• Analytical proficiency with tools like Tableau or Power BI for performance tracking in specified channels.
Expertise in Strategy Development, Tactical planning and execution, data analytics and insights, team leadership, cross functional collaboration, market and customer expansion, and innovation and visualization.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience in the bedding, furniture, or home goods industry, particularly with DTC sites for branded products.
• Familiarity with strategic planning methodologies for multi-channel marketing.
• Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) relevant to email and affiliate strategies.
• Enthusiasm for sleep wellness and consumer trends in direct online sales.
