Job Description
As a Tech Lead, you will be a hands-on technical driver for a small, highly capable engineering team, balancing individual contribution with technical leadership. You will design, build, and evolve APIs and platform capabilities while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high‑quality solutions. This role requires the ability to confidently represent technology in cross‑functional discussions, understand data and integration needs, and guide architectural decisions that support digital ecosystems, marketing automation, and real‑time customer experiences. You will mentor and support 2–3 developers through technical guidance and example while helping establish best practices, maintaining architectural integrity, and making pragmatic technology decisions in an environment where multiple solutions are possible. The Tech Lead is expected to be a patient and influential doer who elevates the team’s technical maturity and may grow into broader leadership responsibilities as the organization scales.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (4+ years).
10+ years of experience in software engineering
2+ years in lead role with full SDLC responsibility.
- Extensive background in eCommerce and mobile product development, with hands-on experience in fast-paced retail and consumer-facing environments, developing web and mobile applications.
- Proven leadership in digital initiatives, including headless commerce migrations and adoption of MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless).
- Highly experience in developing Micro-services/REST APIs using technologies like Java/Spring Boot/NODEJS and using Cloud Native architecture.
- Skilled integrating payment systems and third-party APIs like META, with a solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like Cassandra
- Solid understanding of SEO/SEM and Media Campaigns integrations.
- Proficient in cloud platforms - AWS (ECS Fargate, CloudFront, CloudWatch, AWS Deploy, Lambda) , modern DevOps practices, and emerging AI tools for development and automation (e.g., Copilot, AWS Sagemaker).
- Experience working with Martech environment like CDP/CRM and integrations.
