Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a C++ Developer to join one of our most prominent financial services clients. This person will be supporting large scale modernization efforts across their Asset Management technology organization. They will play a key role in a multi year strategic initiative to modernize and migrate legacy, on prem C++ systems to the cloud by 2029, while continuing to support mission critical trading, risk, pricing, and analytics platforms. The C++ Developer will work closely with cloud architects, platform engineers, quantitative teams, and business stakeholders to refactor and re architect high performance applications for cloud native and hybrid environments. Responsibilities include designing scalable system components, improving performance and resiliency, and ensuring secure, compliant deployments in a highly regulated financial environment. This role will contribute across the full SDLC and provide technical leadership and guidance to more junior engineers while operating in a fast paced, globally distributed engineering organization.

Required Skills & Experience
• 8–15 years of professional software engineering experience
• Expert level C++ development experience (C++11/14/17 preferred)
• Experience designing and supporting large scale, high performance, or low latency systems
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and memory management
• Exposure to or experience supporting cloud migration or modernization initiatives (refactoring legacy systems, hybrid architectures, or cloud native design)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience in financial services or asset management
• Prior involvement in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including containerization or cloud native services
o CFT – cloud fast track
• InvestOne experience
