Job Description

This position is responsible for a specialized role in the Asset Management lifecycle process. The scope of this role includes, but is not limited to, supporting with daily coordination of Laboratory Equipment Service by compiling onsite service requests, monitoring the ticket request portal, service ticket follow-up, tracking of all services, reconciling open requests, maintaining badge and system access requests, submitting service tickets, supporting with scheduling preventative maintenance, team coverage and projects. This role is extremely fast paced, collaborative and requires working extensively with end users in the R&pD laboratories and equipment/service Suppliers via email and excel.
• Laboratory Equipment Service Request Management: Monitor and update daily service requests, assign requests received, compile and develop team email with service assigned service request information.
• Laboratory Equipment Service Request Tracking, Follow-Up and Reconciliation: Track the lifecycle of all requests assigned in database, perform follow-up for unscheduled requests/requests that are pending action, and perform request reconciliation/close-out.
• Lab Equipment Service Request Coordination: Coordinate service visits and provide support for key Tier 1 & 2 vendors - prepare service coordination confirmation and scheduling request emails, process service quotes, submit service requests on behalf of end-users.
Pay is around 30-35/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s Degree
-1-2 years + of full-time experience in a corporate setting ideally as a Project Coordinator, Admin or similar role
-Driven/Self Starter & Quick learner: Ability to perform work duties with limited training, supervision and follows process flows outlined (needs little direction needed and energized to work independently, once trained)
- Experience with and thrive working in a fast-paced environment and high-volume of emails
- Must be extremely focused, organized, have a strong attention to detail and have experience multitasking, managing multiple deadlines
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Comfortable communicating with multiple people and coordinating multiple projects, simultaneously
-Database familiarity (ability to work in multiple databases and pick-up on database learning easily)
-Reliable and consistent in work performance
