Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a CNC Machinist to sit in the Plainville CT area. The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints, work orders, and established methods. This role requires making machine adjustments, inspecting parts for accuracy, and maintaining consistent quality and production output. The machinist will manage multiple machines within a cell environment, uphold strong machining practices, complete required production documentation, and ensure a clean, safe, and well‑maintained workspace. They may also assist newer operators while following all company policies and safety standards.

Required Skills & Experience

- Knowledge in operating CNC milling machines setups using established programs, tools, and fixtures.
- Previous experience with aerospace environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on technical ability
- Capable of running multiple machines simultaneously in a cell environment.
- Authorized to work full‑time in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
- Ability to work in compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Strong blueprint and sketch interpretation skills.
- Experience supporting or training less‑experienced operators
