Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support, automate, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. This role will focus on developing automation scripts for Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLAN creation, VRF provisioning, routing, and BGP, while also serving as a senior escalation resource for manual troubleshooting and operational support.
The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on networking fundamentals, experience automating repeatable network tasks, and is comfortable stepping in during incidents, maintenance windows, and standby/on‑call rotations to restore and stabilize services.
Design, implement, and support enterprise Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks
Configure and troubleshoot:
VLANs, trunking, and switching
VRFs and inter‑VRF routing
BGP peering, route advertisements, and routing policies
Perform network changes, upgrades, and maintenance in production environments
Participate in standby/on‑call rotations to support critical network services
Act as a senior escalation point for complex network issues and outages
Perform root cause analysis and provide post‑incident documentation
Troubleshooting & Support
Manually troubleshoot network issues across data center, WAN, and campus environments
Use CLI‑based troubleshooting to diagnose Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues
Support operational teams during incidents and change windows
Assist junior engineers with troubleshooting, best practices, and technical guidance
Need someone who can complete an implementation in a new space from A-Z. someone who has experience with design and implementation. If the person is being provided a run book to complete the work, this will not suffice. We need someone with strong VRF configuration. How would you route from VRF? We need someone who remembers all commands and understands the most basic work.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise or service‑provider environments
Strong hands‑on experience with:
Layer 2 networking (VLANs, trunking, spanning tree)
Layer 3 networking (routing, VRFs)
BGP
Experience creating or maintaining network automation scripts
Strong troubleshooting skills in production network environments
Comfortable working both proactively (automation/builds) and reactively (incidents/support)
Experience working with network devices from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.)
Ability to clearly document procedures and communicate during incidents
