Job Description
Dynamic Systems (DSI) is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to manage and evolve our hybrid enterprise environment. This role combines ownership of traditional infrastructure (VMware, Windows Server, SQL Server) with deep Azure platform responsibility. The ideal candidate operates comfortably across on-prem and cloud environments and can serve as a technical bridge between infrastructure, development, and data initiatives.
This is not a helpdesk or endpoint-administration role. We are seeking a hands-on engineer who has owned production environments, implemented cloud governance, and contributed to long-term infrastructure strategy.
Core Responsibilities
• Manage and optimize hybrid infrastructure (VMware, Windows Server, networking, backup/DR)
• Own Azure platform resources including governance, networking, security, and monitoring
• Administer SQL Server environments (performance tuning, backup strategy, troubleshooting)
• Implement and maintain enterprise identity and security controls (Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, MFA)
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Sentinel)
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code patterns (Terraform, Bicep, ARM preferred)
• Collaborate with development and data teams to support application hosting, integrations, and cloud services
• Proactively monitor system health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tooling
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to long-term infrastructure planning

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience in mid-to-large environments
• Demonstrated ownership of Azure resources beyond basic administration
• Strong experience with Windows Server and VMware
• Solid SQL Server administration experience
• Familiarity with identity governance and security policy implementation
• Experience working across hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
• Azure governance and cost optimization
• AKS or container platform familiarity
• Experience supporting SaaS integrations
• Background contributing to infrastructure strategy or leading technical initiatives
