Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced Aluminum MIG and TIG Welder to fabricate and assemble aluminum boat structures and components. This role focuses on precision welding, blueprint interpretation, quality inspection, and safe operation of fabrication equipment in a production environment.

This role is able to pay $20-22.41hr dependent on years of experience

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience with aluminum MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Experience performing structural and cosmetic aluminum welds
• Strong knowledge of aluminum welding techniques, processes, and equipment
• Ability to inspect welds for quality, defects, and safety compliance
• Experience preparing materials (cleaning, grinding, fitting) prior to welding
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, kneeling, reaching)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in boat manufacturing or marine environments
• Familiarity with MES or production tracking systems
Experience working in regulated or safety‑focused manufacturing environments
