Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Data Warehouse Architect to join an innovative international law firm client. This individual will be responsible for designing and delivering modern, scalable, and high-performing data platforms that enable advanced financial and operational analytics. This role will play a key role in defining our enterprise data architecture strategy, optimizing data flows, and ensuring data structures are reliable, efficient, and built for analytical depth and scalability. The Sr. Data Warehouse Architect will also deliver a well-structured, high-performing data platform that delivers reliable, reconciled financial and operational metrics with the goals of, reducing time-to-insight for finance and leadership teams through optimized data pipelines and curated data models, and establishing standards for data governance, lineage, and model reusability that elevate data quality across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures leveraging Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms to support real-time and batch analytical workloads.
• Build efficient ELT/ETL workflows using Spark, Python, and SQL to ingest, transform, and curate large volumes of structured and unstructured financial and operational data.
• Create and maintain dimensional, normalized, and semantic data models to serve financial reporting, performance analytics, and forecasting use cases.
• Lead integration design of Elite 3E, HRIS, and other source systems, ensuring accurate reconciliation and alignment with enterprise data warehouse schemas.
• Enforce data governance policies, lineage tracking, and metadata standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Tune query performance, optimize compute and storage costs, and implement data caching and partitioning strategies to improve processing speed and efficiency.
• Partner closely with data engineers, BI developers, finance analysts, and technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and architectures to enhance data platform performance and scalability.

This is a full-time position that can sit fully remote in the US (preferably in EST time zone).

Compensation
$175k-$195k base salary
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, level of experience, geographic location, education, and consideration of internal equity.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in data architecture with proven experience designing data lakes and lakehouse architecture
• Hands-on experience architecting solutions on Databricks and/or Snowflake and strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark
• Deep understanding of data modeling principles (3NF, star/snowflake schemas, data vault)
• Strong familiarity with financial data structures, accounting schemas, and legal practice management systems such as Aderant or Elite 3E
• Experience building data solutions to support financial planning, billing, profitability, and time & expense analytics
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP (Databricks, Snowflake, S3, Delta Lake), Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer / Architect or Snowflake SnowPro Advanced: Architect
• TOGAF or other enterprise data architecture credentials
