Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices on private cloud infrastructure
Build responsive, accessible front-end experiences using React
Implement and evolve event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka
Integrate with internal platforms and external vendor systems and APIs
Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and robust CI/CD practices
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability, performance, and observability
Partner with product, operations, and trading stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
Contribute to architecture decisions, documentation, and best practices in an agile environment

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of recent experience as a full stack developer
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot; RESTful API design
Experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms
Strong React skills and familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern front-end tooling
Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and automated testing (e.g., JUnit, Jest)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with trading floor technologies, dealerboards, or real-time communications
Knowledge of messaging and streaming protocols (e.g., WebSockets, gRPC)
Observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace) and performance tuning
Prior work integrating third-party vendor systems, SSO, and enterprise security patterns
