Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Remote Site Reliability / Observability Engineer to join the IT Operations team to own the reliability, performance, and observability for the Azure-based platforms. This role is focused on production stability, incident response, and proactive reliability engineering rather than infrastructure build‑out. To be successful you must have experience with the following tech stack: Datadog, Azure Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, Docker, & Python/PowerShell/Shell/Go. If you haven’t used observability tools like Datadog in a production on‑call environment, they’re not an SRE for this role. You must be self-sufficient and proactive in resolving issues, comfortable working with incomplete details and driving clarity and strong collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability / Observability Engineer.
- Experience with defining Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) , capacity & latency trends.
- Experience with Datadog (All-In-One Observability Suite) to design, implement, maintain and collect logs, metrics, alerts, traces, and dashboards.
- Experience with production reliability deployments with Azure Kubernetes (AKS) for Azure based platforms.
- Experience containerizing applications using Docker.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform for automated provisioning.
- Experience with scripting and automating reliability improvements utilizing Python and/or PowerShell.
- Experience working in Scrum teams, planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for new product capabilities.

- Terraform Associate (HashiCorp) - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure environments.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) - Container orchestration, often paired with AKS.
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
