Job Description
This is an Infrastructure Automation Architect role focused on automating traditional infrastructure (network, security, compute, storage, wireless). The candidate will be the automation SME for a team with limited enterprise automation experience and will partner closely with a centralized platform team that owns Terraform, Ansible, and Vault.
This role is program-shaping, not just hands-on scripting.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong Infrastructure Experience- Networking: routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, Compute and virtualization (on prem or hybrid) , storage programs, wireless or campus networking, security
Experience designing and scaling automation programs-patterns and standards- not just written playbooks or one off scripts
Experience working with Infrastructure as code and configuration as code
Experience rolling automation out across multiple teams and environments
Experience/Understanding of Terraform, Ansible Automation Platform, Secrets Management, Service Now, Monitoring or Observability triggers, JIRA
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Event-driven automation experience
Closed-loop remediation or self-healing concepts
Prior experience integrating automation with ITSM or observability tools
Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments
