Job Description

Our client is looking for an associate production support engineer to help support the front office trading applications. This role supports teams that work with products like rates, foreign exchanges, and credits. On a day to day, this engineer will monitor production systems, triage and resolve application and infrastructure issues, and ensure platform stability during trading hours. Responsibilities include navigating Unix environments to review logs, processes, and system health; executing shell commands and basic scripts to troubleshoot issues; and using SQL to investigate data‑related problems.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1-3 years of experience in a technical role
- Strong Unix knowledge (Navigate Unix boxes, Commands, Navigate files, logs, command box pings)
- Basic Shell scripting knowledge
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business or Economics or related

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Any business product knowledge (Rates, Foreign Exchanges, and Credits)
○ Standard is equities, but not as applicable as the others for this role
- Experience with SiteScope for monitoring
