Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Network Analyst for a 12-month contract. This is a remote opportunity; however, the preference is that someone is located in Calgary, Loveland or Saskatoon. A successful candidate will contribute to network solution design and implementation, including operational documentation. Train and guide the Network Operations team. Provide Tier 2 support for Corporate Network Infrastructure. Develop and operationalize network services, processes, and documentation. Demonstrate integrity, adaptability, and efficiency through self-management.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years related experience in a network analyst or similar role
- Experience providing Operational Support of LAN, WAN, Wireless Network, Network Security, and Enterprise Voice solutions.
- Understanding/experience with Cisco (NXOS, IOS XR/XE), Advanced VPN (S2S/Client), Firewalls, ISE, Meraki, KEMP/F5, VXLAN, BGP, CUCM, Unity Connection, CER, SBC (Cisco + Audiocodes), Contact Center, Teams Enterprise Voice
- Experience designing and maintaining global networks spanning urban and rural areas
- Advanced knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
- Working knowledge of public and private LTE networks
- Excellent understanding of infrastructure technologies and implementation
- Degree/diploma/training in Computer Systems Technology, Computer Information Systems, or similar discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Certifications from Cisco, VMWare and Microsoft will be considered an asset.
- Experience in Gallagher Physical Access Control, Milestone XProtect, Illumio, InfoBlox.
- Knowledge of public peering, Internet Exchanges, IP Transit, Public IP design, etc.
Python or another scripting language would be an asset
