Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and testing of advanced vehicle electronic systems for military platforms. This role involves working across hardware, software, and mechanical teams to develop ruggedized, secure, and mission-critical systems for ground combat and tactical vehicles. This position will help ensure that our systems meet strict MIL-STD, survivability, interoperability and software standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure requirements traceability from program and vehicle level to subsystem and component level specifications
• Develop verification methods and plans needed to satisfy requirements
• Assist with test execution, data collection and report creation to validate requirements are met
• Apply principles of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) throughout the throughout the design, build, and test phases
• Participate in Failure Analysis, Corrective Action System (FRACAS) in order to assist failures are properly root caused and solutions are verified
• Create and maintain Reliability and Maintainability Case Report
• Perform hardware Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
• Develop Boundary and P-Diagrams for system and subsystems
• Assist with development of troubleshooting procedures, scheduled and preventive maintenance procedures, special tools identification
• Conduct maintainability predictions and analysis including identification of repair times required, personnel required, and tools required to complete specific tasks
• Ensure compliance with relevant military standards (e.g., ATPD-2404, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-470, MIL-STD-756, SAE J1939, etc.).
• Identify and develop risk mitigation strategies associated with quality, reliability, maintainability strategies
• Maintain overall risk database and ensure it is updated regularly through development of risk management status reports

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in systems engineering, quality, reliability, maintainability.
• Experience with system-level design and integration of hardware in vehicle platforms.
• Experience performing reliability and maintainability assessments and creation of associated reports
