Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work a hybrid Azure Data Engineering position with one of our Top Oil and Gas clients. The data engineer will be a key contributor in building and maintaining end to end data pipelines for analytics solutions within our Oil& Gas client's Insights & Discovery Platform based on Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure Synapse Analytics. For the current project, the Engineer will be needed to build data pipelines for midstream and refining teams, taking the data from the applications that can contextualize information, and data PDFs/drawings, and push them to Cognite. This engineer will be working on this project or have the opportunity to work on incoming projects. The Data Engineer will be working alongside an established team that handles the day to day operations.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 10+ years of experience in the IT field
• AT LEAST 8+ years of hands on experience in building data pipelines, data models and maintaining/supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions
• Experience in scaled agile framework for data engineering product delivery
• Strong experience with Azure Synapse
• Strong experience with SQL and Python
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with contextualization products (e.g. Cognite)
• Experience with data integration tools (e.g. Qlik Replicate) and with data modeling tools (e.g. Erwin)
