Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Shop Winder to join an industry leading oil and gas services company in Turtle Creek, PA. The Shop Winder would be tasked with the disassembly, cleaning, service, and rewinding of large industrial electric generators. This person should have strong electrical testing and mechanical aptitude. Ideally, this candidate has dealt with the armature and winding of large electric motors. This candidate must be comfortable utilizing a forklift or crane.

This role is offering $20-26/hr depending on relevant experience. This role also offers significant overtime and a competitive benefits package.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience working with industrial electric motors
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong medium and high voltage electrical testing experience
- Experience using multimeters and meggers
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Significant experience winding, rewinding, and rewedging electrical motors
