Job Description

The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing and executing financial accounting activities. This role encompasses a wide range of tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Month-End Closing: Support the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Cash Management: Support cash flow management, including monitoring and forecasting cash positions to ensure liquidity.
Payroll: Administer payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees and compliance with relevant regulations.
Accounts Payable: Support accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.
Accounts Receivable: Support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing customers, tracking payments, and managing collections.
Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
Forecasting: Develop financial forecasts to predict future financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of full cycle accounting experience, including finalization of financial statements
Experience with financial module systems and general ledger systems
Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CPA or other designations
Previous experience in manufacturing
Experience with SOX controls, auditing processes
